Even though our project work has been going on for a few weeks now, this past week has felt like the week where our project actually started moving. From mainly being a formulated idea, this has been the week when we actually got to start digging into and learn about the topic of virtual education and the present situation on campus Johanneberg.

With all these things happening, it has been a fun but quite intense week. The week started off with presentations where we got the chance to present our idea to all teachers and students involved but where we also got to listen to the other project ideas. This session offered a lot of inspiration from the other projects but also a lot of valuable inputs and reflections on our specific project from the audience. It got apparent to us that this is not only a topic of great interest to the three of us, but also to many other students and teachers. We believe that due to the current situation, with mainly online education, there are many others reflecting on the current online educational environment and potential future improvements.

Having received feedback and inspiration we kicked off our project through a group meeting, discussing how to continue and move forward with our project. The following two weeks we will continue exploring the current situation, mainly through dialogues but also through some research on the technical aspects of virtual education. Next step is to perform interviews with both students and teachers, to get some different perspectives on the current remote and online education and the benefits and challenges that follow. We are eager to keep on digging into this really exciting topic and to share our reflections and findings here on this blog!
